15 Year Old Boy Scammed 200,000 RMB By An Internet Lover

Guangzhou, Panyu Police have arrested a man named Deng who scammed a 15-year-old, Fu, more than 200,000 RMB. 

Fu reported to the police in September this year that he met a female internet friend when playing online games in June. The two hit it off and they exchanged QQ and later established an online romantic relationship. 

Within three months period, the online girlfriend repeatedly asked Fu to transfer some money to her Alipay account, citing different reasons such as "family difficulties."  The amount Fu transferred was more than 200,000 RMB. 

After receiving the report, Panyu Police set a task force and caught a man surnamed Deng in Dashi Street, Panyu District. Deng confessed that he pretended to be a woman on the internet in order to cheat men who are looking for lovers online, especially teenagers because they are naive and easily deceived.
